What we collect, why, and the control you have over it.
Last updated: June 21, 2026
Nimbus Solutions, LLC (“Nimbus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and what choices you have. It applies to nimbussolutions.org, the Nimbus customer portal where applicable, and the internet and related services we provide.
The plain-English version: we collect what we need to install service, bill accurately, operate and secure the network, support customers, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, browsing history, usage records, or contact information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you ask about service, order service, contact support, or use a form on this website, we may collect:
- Name, service address, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
- Billing and payment information, including records of invoices, payments, and account status. Payment card or bank details may be processed by our payment provider rather than stored directly by Nimbus.
- Property, installation, and access details needed to confirm coverage, schedule work, and safely install or service equipment.
- Business details if you request commercial, enterprise, agricultural, industrial, cabling, phone, or consulting service.
- Messages, form submissions, support requests, photos, notes, and other information you choose to provide.
Information generated by your service
To operate a wireless internet network, our systems create and store technical information such as:
- Customer equipment identifiers, radio status, signal quality, tower or sector association, and diagnostic readings.
- IP address assignments, connection status, session times, and network logs.
- Bandwidth totals and performance data needed for billing, troubleshooting, capacity planning, network management, and security.
- Support history, service notes, installation records, and repair records.
We may collect, retain, preserve, or produce subscriber information, billing records, provisioning records, IP assignment records, connection records, network logs, and other technical records when needed to comply with the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA), valid court orders, subpoenas, warrants, preservation requests, or other lawful legal process. We do not voluntarily monitor the content of customer communications for law enforcement, but we will comply with lawful intercept or production obligations when legally required and technically applicable.
We do not sell this information. We also do not use deep packet inspection to profile you for advertising or sell a record of the websites you visit.
Website and portal information
When you visit this site or use online account tools, we may collect standard web information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, and approximate location inferred from IP address. We may use cookies, server logs, and basic analytics to understand site performance, improve the website, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
Third-party services we use
Nimbus uses a limited set of third-party services to operate the website, understand search performance, process service requests, manage customer accounts, automate internal workflows, and troubleshoot network or location questions. These services may process personal information, technical information, or usage information only as needed for the purpose described below:
- Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate website traffic, page performance, device types, and referral sources.
- Google Search Console helps us monitor how this site appears in Google Search, including indexing, search queries, and technical search issues.
- Bing Search Console helps us monitor how this site appears in Bing search results, including indexing, search queries, and technical search issues.
- Formspree processes website form submissions, including contact requests, coverage questions, and service inquiries.
- ipinfo helps us interpret IP address information for diagnostics, approximate location, abuse prevention, and network troubleshooting.
- VISP supports customer account management, billing, service records, provisioning, and operational customer support.
- Make.com supports internal workflow automation, such as moving form submissions, notifications, and operational records between tools.
These services are not allowed to use Nimbus customer information for their own marketing. Their handling of information is also governed by their own privacy and security terms.
Information from third parties
We may receive information from payment processors, customer-management tools, support vendors, installation partners, upstream network providers, fraud-prevention tools, public records, or other sources when needed to provide service, verify account activity, process payments, investigate issues, or comply with law.

We use the information we collect to:

We do not use your personal information for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or rent customer lists.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only in limited circumstances:
Service providers. We use vendors that help us run the business, such as payment processing, billing, customer management, email delivery, support, analytics, hosting, accounting, and network operations tools. These vendors receive only the information needed to perform their work and are expected to protect it.
Those service providers include Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Search Console, Formspree, ipinfo, VISP, and Make.com, as described above.
Network operations. Upstream carriers, transit providers, equipment vendors, and other network operators may process traffic metadata as part of carrying internet traffic. This is part of how the internet works. We do not give those parties customer information for their own marketing.
Legal process and compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, CALEA, subpoena, court order, search warrant, lawful government request, or regulatory obligation. This may include producing subscriber information, service records, billing records, IP assignment records, connection records, network logs, and other records we maintain when the request is legally valid. We may also preserve information when legally required or when necessary to protect rights and safety.
Security and emergencies. We may share information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to investigate abuse, stop a network attack, prevent fraud, protect the public, respond to an emergency, or prevent imminent harm.
Business transfers. If Nimbus is involved in a merger, sale, financing, restructuring, acquisition, or transfer of all or part of the business, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction. The receiving party would be expected to honor this policy or provide notice of any material change.
Cookies and analytics
This site and related account tools may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, improve performance, measure traffic, and protect against abuse. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.
We may use basic analytics to understand aggregate website usage. We do not use the website to sell your browsing data to advertisers or data brokers.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect customer information. These may include access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure account tools, vendor controls, equipment access controls, and internal limits on who can view customer records.
No system is perfect. If we discover a security incident involving your personal information, we will investigate and provide notice where required by law.
We keep information only as long as we have a business, operational, legal, tax, accounting, security, or regulatory reason to keep it. Typical retention periods vary by record type:
- Account, invoice, payment, and tax records may be kept for several years after service ends.
- Network diagnostic logs and connection records are generally kept for shorter operational periods unless needed for security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or a pending dispute.
- Support and installation records may be kept so we can understand past work at a service address and support future service.
- Backups may retain information for a limited period before they are overwritten or deleted in the ordinary course.
Your choices
You may contact us to:
- Review the account information we maintain about you.
- Correct inaccurate contact, billing, or service information.
- Ask questions about how your information is used or shared.
- Request deletion of information, subject to records we must retain for service, billing, legal, security, tax, or regulatory reasons.
- Opt out of non-essential marketing communications, if any.
Account-essential messages, including billing, outage, maintenance, security, and service notices, may still be sent while you remain a customer.
Some states provide additional privacy rights. If a state privacy law applies to your request, we will honor the rights required by that law.
Children’s privacy
Our services and website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will review the request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and we may also notify active customers by email, invoice message, customer portal, or other account communication.
